This is one of my favourite places in Kent. 2000 years older than Stonehenge, this is part of a collection of neolithic sites in the Medway valley. Famously excavated by Flinders Petrie, the famous Egyptian archaeologist, it is based on the same premise as West Kennet long barrow. Beautiful views of the northdowns. I didnt tell the two girls pictured that I was taking their pic and they wont know that they are in a painting!
